Gino Greci is the Founder and CEO of Ubique General Contracting.

 

Gino got his start  in the construction business by working for his father’s demolition company during the summer months throughout high school. After Gino  graduated, he continued to work for his father, running projects and operating heavy equipment. In addition, Gino was responsible for transporting heavy equipment to various job sites. While working with his father they would often take on sub contractor work in the construction sector working alongside builders. As the 2008 recession approached and work became scarce for a small demolition company, Gino decided to branch out as a member of the local 506 union and continued to develop his skills working with industry leaders. In the off-season, Gino would often take on work assisting with remodeling and wet basement contractors. Gino also spent time as a AZ driver delivering film equipment in the Greater Toronto Area.

 

 Looking for a change he decided to join the Canadian armed forces where he served for 6 years. Upon his release he went back to the construction industry. Although his employer at the time was excellent, Gino missed the challenges that the military had brought him.  It was then that he decided to start Ubique General Contracting. The name “Ubique”, which means ‘everywhere’, was inspired from the motto of the Canadian Military Engineers, who Gino had the privilege to work alongside.

 

Gino is happily married to his wife who is also an entrepreneur, whom he calls his inspiration to start Ubique General Contracting. They have a son and a daughter between them. Outside of work, Gino enjoys working on classic cars, jumping on a motorcycle for a ride across the Kawarthas, exercising, and spending time outdoors.
